Kings College is currently supporting ‘’Our Lady of the Mount School’’, in Anjara, Jordan, one of the poorer parts of the country.

All funds collected from the May Fayre will go towards sponsoring deprived children at the school, where there are limited financial resources and shortages of both educational materials and teaching staff.

For the past 2 years some of our students from Years 12 and 1º de Bachillerato have organized a summer camp at the school in July for some of the children at the school. Once again this July, Mar Vallejo, one of our teachers, and a group of our students will be going out to work at the school with the children in the Summer camp.

The outgoing projects are,

• A rehab centre for handicapped children
• The first juniors library in the north of Jordan
• A foster home for children in need (education, food, clothing, cultural activities)
• Scholarships for children
• Refurbishing of bathrooms, facilities, classes and playground.
