Halloween Class Parties
Next Thursday 28th Oct we have our Halloween Class Parties. Children are invited to wear fancy dress costumes into school on this day. In the classrooms the children will have a little party and a fun day. Please can I remind all parents that costumes MUST BE PRACTICAL. Children need to be able to use the toilet unsupervised and move around for the whole day. Thank you.
Reading at home
Children in Yr 1 and Yr 2 bring home reading books and reading record books. When you have read with your child at home please can you either write a comment in the record book or draw a happy face. This way the teachers can see if the child has read a home. Comments can be written in either English or Spanish. Our Parent workshop on Nov 24th is on Reading at Home. Thank you.
Late arrivals
We have had many children coming into school late at the moment. I appreciate that on certain days, traffic has been very bad entering into Madrid, however please can ALL parents make a real effort to have the children in school by 9.25am please. Arriving late is very disruptive to the lesson and can unsettle the child, especially in Nursery. I really appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
After School
Many parents have signed up for the after school supervision from 5-6pm. Parents who continually use this facility will be charged. Can I please stress that if a child is attending either Judo or Ballet, that after the class has finished, the children need to go home please. There has been a lot of children playing after classes and a lot of movement of children unsupervised in school. For everyone’s safety, please can parents take their children home after ballet and Judo finishes
